Overview

With a strong emphasis on developing business within manufacturers, your efforts will be highly rewarded with a base salary of up to £55K coupled with on target earnings of between £10K-£15K in the first year. THE ROLE : The role of BDM will see you covering the U.K selling into the major manufacturing companies as end users. The aim of this exciting position is to work with large end users within the food and beverage arena, Process market, Aerospace Sector and Automotive industries, in order to get your products specified in via the OEMs that sell to them. Selling a range of mechanical and pneumatic components for bespoke applications your remit as BDM will see you liaising with C level points of contacts and negotiating for contracts worth anywhere from £50K-£500K. THE PERSON: In order to be considered for the role of BDM, you must be able to show at interview that you have sold at C-Level, dealing with senior directors to negotiate on large contracts. If you come from a technical background this would ideal, preferably mechanical, however, this is not a pre-requisite as product training is provided. If you a solution orientated individual, organised, inquisitive and extremely career focused, then this could be your next move.
