Founder Bob Hayward is a best-selling author, international speaker and a highly successful entrepreneur, having opened seven businesses and taken six of them to £1m turnover or more. We are now looking for a Business Development Apprentice to join our team and undertake an 18 month apprenticeship which will equip you with the skills you need for a full-time, permanent position. The Role As a Business Development Apprentice, you will learn and develop your skills with the aim of leading the end-to-end sales process for soft and hard skill training. You will be trained in a multitude of departments within the organisation, ensuring you have the skills to oversee all sales functions. Specifically, your role will involve: - Assisting with marketing activities - Supporting the development of campaign content - Identifying new prospects and learning how to follow up leads - Accompanying an experienced team member on sales visits - Learning how to handle and resolve any customer complaints and feedback - Leaning how to analyse sales figures and trends - Gaining and maintaining an awareness of market trends in the industry About You Although no experience is required, to join us as a Business Development Apprentice, you will need: - The drive to achieve and bags of enthusiasm - A strong desire to hit targets and to lead - Great interpersonal skills and a proactive approach - At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at a grade C or above in English and Maths The successful candidate will need to live within a commutable distance of the office in Swindon or be willing to relocate. Other organisations may call this role Business Apprentice, Apprentice, Sales Development Apprentice, Sales Apprenticeship, Trainee Sales Executive, Trainee Business Development Executive, Trainee BDE, or Junior Business Development Executive. This is a full-time role, working 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
