Sales Director - Drainage Products
Overview
We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. This senior management role will see you have total responsibility for the sales function of this prominent Drainage Manufacturer. Your levels of responsibility will be managing & leading an external sales team of 7. You will be charged with setting budgets, targets, strategy and KPI’s to ensure the team achieve growth targets, leading & inspiring the team. As well as key customer involvement you will also accompany your team on joint calls and implement any training needs as and when they are required. Your team will spend their time selling to National & Independant Merchants as well as Main & Sub Contractors. The turnover of the UK is in the multi-millions and although this is a National role you ideally need to be based as centrally in the country as possible. My client is looking for an accomplished senior sales manager/director who HAS to have experience from within the Drainage market. They will NOT entertain applicants without that experience. You must be a proven man-manager who can easily demonstrate a proven track record in motivating, leading, guiding & driving an external sales force. You need to also understand the route to market and be in a position to maybe progress further down the line as the company are keen on succession planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a hungry, driven, people focused manager to play a key part in the further development of this business.
