Overview
Regional Estate and Planning Manager Location: Chipping Sodbury, Bristol or Allington, Kent Hanson is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of construction materials and part of the HeidelbergCement Group. We are seeking an experienced estates and planning m anager to lead our regional land and mineral resources (LMR) team comprising of land and planning managers, geologists, landscape architects, land surveyors, CAD/GIS technicians and support staff. You will be responsible for the cost-effective estates management of a diverse portfolio of property and mineral assets across all business lines in our south region, including quarries, concrete plants, asphalt plants, rail depots, wharves and other distribution facilities. The successful candidate will take a lead role in driving planning, permitting and development projects and provide effective specialist advice to senior management. You will be a strategic thinker and an excellent communicator – effective in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Applicants should have a degree in property, or a related discipline, and be a Chartered Surveyor, or similar, with proven post-qualification experience. A strong track-record in managing a professional team and maintaining financial control over project- related costs is also required.
