The Estate opens its main house and walled gardens to the public between May and August each summer, as well as hosting numerous weddings, private parties, corporate events and public shows throughout the year. Loseley Park is moving towards becoming more sustainable and enhancing its biodiversity, therein embarking on an exciting journey to invigorate it into a thriving rural Estate, offering great quality and service in all that is offered. The Estate Owners are looking to recruit an experienced Rural Surveyor to join the current Management Team. This new role will act as manager for the Estate’s let property portfolio, as well as offer technical advice and support on all land and property matters to the Estate Owners and Trustees. Land management is also a priority; the successful candidate will liaise with the Estate Owners and other team members to coordinate all repairs, manage lettings and identify new opportunities. This is a new role since the Estate is moving away from hiring a third-party Land Agent to employing an in-house person, who will fulfil a similar role to that of the existing Agents. Person Requirements: Great negotiating skills Adaptable to any situation Financial acumen and good budget management skills Great management skills to include both managing staff and projects Ability to engage with a variety of audiences Open minded to estate management; ability to spot and create opportunities and solutions Lead and develop management plans for the Estate’s property and land Clear understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats on the Estate Collaborative approach to working with other team members Ability to foster a strong relationship with tenants, stakeholders and the local community Ensuring the supply of the Estate’s own water and broadband service efficiently and effectively to all customers To apply, please fill in the form below.
