Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. You will set the strategy and outline the roadmap for the entire Data function and outline what you want it to achieve You will manage the Data Engineer and Data Scientist - advising them on the technical work and strategy You will look to build out the team as the business grows and the data function capabilities improve You will work closely with the CEO and COO of the business to help it grow and establish best practice for Data Excellent experience growing a Data function - setting the strategy, roadmap and hiring a team An excellent understanding and experience of Data Engineering or Data Science principles (ML engineering) Strong team management experience Experience working in a start-up environment
