TrueLayer is looking for an experienced PR & Communications Lead to amplify our story, placing TrueLayer at the centre of fintech and open banking narratives globally. Youll be responsible for crafting storylines, activations, and experiences which drive meaningful growth for our brand, ensuring we are sharing the right message with the right audience at the right time. As PR & Communications Lead at TrueLayer, youll make strategic decisions about how the company is represented externally, striking the right balance between corporate and consumer messages. Were currently the leading open banking provider in the UK, and were just getting started As our PR & Communications Lead, you will: * Develop and drive the PR and communications strategy for TrueLayer with a focus on quality media coverage that elevates our brand * Understand our key markets, customers, competitors, and regulatory landscape, ensuring we have an up-to-date point-of-view * Develop, enforce, and evolve communications processes and messaging guidelines * Collaborate with teams across the business to ideate, plan, and deliver proactive content and PR initiatives * Build relationships with relevant journalists, ensuring our leadership team has regular opportunities to meet with the press * Develop thought leadership synopses and proactively pitch them in to media to secure high-quality coverage * Manage agency relationships, ensuring we get maximum value from external partners * Develop and secure byline opportunities for TrueLayer, raising the profile of our leadership team by ensuring they comment on relevant, timely issues * Stay on top of the news cycle and be informed on current trends and issues * Provide PR support to our global teams as we expand into new regions Requirements What we need from you: * Significant experience leading PR & Communications in a B2B tech environment with the work samples to prove it * You use metrics and analysis to drive informed business decisions and define differentiated messaging * You are well connected in the media industry and have relationships with leading journalists in the FinTech sector * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, you have experience presenting to large groups and senior audiences * A bias towards action and getting things done Nice to haves: * Previous experience working at a high-growth startup or larger company * An understanding of API technology Benefits What you can expect from us: * Competitive salary and meaningful equity in the company * A lovely, spacious, natural light filled office in Clerkenwell * Team lunches on Friday * Flexible hours and remote working * Flexible holiday policy * Generous parental leave * Pension & Health Insurance * Learning & development allowance * Annual retreat & regular team socials * Choice of hardware * (and yes we have both a ping pong table and pool table ) Be your True Layer s elf at work As we go global, we want our team to reflect the diverse and multicultural world we live in.
