Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities This is a role where the individual will work closely with the senior management team, AI researchers, data scientists and software engineers in developing the firms art direction, data visualisation and UX/UI design system. Key duties include developing the user interface of Arabesques software products, creating a data visualisation and UX/UI design system for the company, development of the companys art direction, brand assets, brand guidelines and communication campaigns, creating wireframes, product prototypes and user-journey maps, conducting design sprint, UX research and usability testing, conducting independent research, exploring different ways of communication and design, creating a range of viable concepts and designs for each project, communicating visual designs, art direction, concepts, and storyboards through presentations, working with production artists to execute multimedia and digital work. Requirements Skills, Qualifications and Experience Skills: must be team orientated, able to work within a dynamic team with strong academic backgrounds, time and project management skills, able to conduct independent research, strong and solid understanding of data visualisation, physical and mathematical models, keen attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, XD), Sketch, Tableau, InVision Studio and Microsoft Office, able to create multi-media graphics, storyboard and contribute to the process of creative development. Qualifications and Experience: Experience in data visualisation and conducting research, a master/postgraduate degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, psychology, or another field with strong quantitative demands, knowledge of statistical analysis, knowledge of product design, UX design, graphic design, humanities and art being an advantage, a keen interest in sustainability and the desire to make a difference, experience communicating with senior management team, researchers and engineers, fluent in English and ideally at least one more other language.
