Overview
Global leading freight forwarder seeking an accomplished sales professional with new business acquisition and leadership qualities to manage a team of 2 and then to grow to a team of 6 Leading a team who: Develops quotes, proposals or presentations for customers for management approval; assists with presentation as required Attends customer visits with field sales and sales activities to continue strengthening relationship, understanding needs to grow the business Develops critical relationships with customers and key contacts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and identify opportunities to secure and grow business RFQ support including analytics, data collection, co-ordination, proposal document preparation Ensures SOP’s in place and adherence to processes and operations complies with applicable laws, rules and regulations; seeks advice and interpretation when required This would suit a professional who either manages an internal sales team (ideally from a logistical background but we are open) or a BDM who is dynamic and has the managerial capabilities to galvanise and drive the team forward.
