Overview
For the Industrial Water Treatment Sales organization in EMEA we are looking for a: Key Account Manager Midlands Home Based Location The job: Grade- 15 The position will report to the Area Manager UK Midlands. The job: • Achieving the area business and growing our business base in the Midlands region in line with our business strategy and commercial targets • Managing influent water treatment, cooling tower, boiler and waste water applications in the South East region • There is initially an approximate 20/80 split between new business sales and key account management (including sales and service and consultancy to existing customers) • Responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow up within territory • Working to clarify defined commercial sales targets - reviewed on a monthly basis • The types of industries to service and to sell into are within, food and beverage, heavy and light engineering, dairy, plastics and chemicals. • Dealing with Technical, Engineering, Buyers and Facility Managers • Maintaining appropriate records Requirements: Bachelor/ Master Degree, preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, is required or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree Sales experience in the Water treatment industry is a distinctive advantage Sound technical knowledge of boiler and/or cooling water treatment and current relevant legislation Customer focus - Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers Delivering Results - Deliver against strategic business KPI’s. Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude Fluent in English This is a field-based role and some travel will be required.
