Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a leading currency retail company for an Retail Area Support Manager. The Area Support manager will be responsible for the successful operational support of multi retail stores based in locations including Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire. Our client has an aggressive plan to open 50 new stores in this region over the next 12 months. The Retail Area Support Manager will support a highly ambitious and driven Area Manager and the focus is on exceptional customer service, operational support and increasing footfall to the retail sites. You will have a highly attractive package of a competitive salary, expenses to travel hotels, flights, performance bonus. 20 days holidays plus bank holidays, rising to 23 with year's service. Days off in lieu if you work unsocial hours on a regular basis. The role of Area Support Manager Multi-site retail Ops Supporting the Area Manager with the opening of new stores within the South and South East Make sure each retail branch is maximising sales opportunities by exceeding the customers expectation. Completing regular visits to retail stores to complete Audit in Compliance, Health and Safety and Compliance. Create new business relationships which increase customer footfall and revenue increases. Responsible for all third party and supplier relationships with landlords, shopping centres and business managers as required. Recruit and manage all supervisors and retail staff making sure they are developed and trained on all parts of the role. Responsible for documenting and controlling holidays, sickness ensuring all is reported to HR and the retail branches can be functional always. Customer complaint management Provide advice and training on marketing and promotional activities. The successful candidate for Retail Area account support manager. Have supervisory, management experience of multi-site retail locations. Experience of managing to team to increase the bottom line in terms of revenue and service. Management of all human resources. Flexibility to work various hours including week and weekends. Able to travel throughout UK on a regular basis sometimes with short notice.
