Sales Account Manager Manufacturing Sector, Electronics Job type: Permanent, Full-time Reporting to: Head of Sales Location: Poole, office-based Working hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 - 4:30, 30 minutes for lunch Our client is a reputable award-winning company within the specialist field of marine electronics, currently trading internationally, across 45 countries producing electronic equipment. Their ambitious 2020 growth plans has created an opportunity for the Sales team to expand and they now require a Sales Account Manager. To drive the growth sales within the existing customer network of international distributors, the Account Manager will develop positive and close relationships with distributors and handle their requirements from receiving orders through to dealing with any questions and delivery issues. The Account Manager will understand the clients current and future needs and identify hidden opportunities within the client's business in order to generate new sales. With a high focus on developing the distribution network, the Account Manager will identify new opportunities that lead to long term success. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Manager will play a pivotal role in the Company achieving its growth objectives. This role encompasses occasional travel to attend client meetings, conferences, trade shows and networking events, locally and internationally. Duties and responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining and developing a portfolio of national and international accounts Provide quotations, input orders and maintain orders through to delivery, having a detailed understanding of the full order cycle Take ownership of customer order and delivery issues and manage them through to resolution, keeping the customer informed at all times Adhere to the Company credit management processes, minimise the financial risk for the Company and produce detailed risk reports on prospective customers Research to find new distributors and identify key decision-makers Attend customer meetings, conferences, trade shows and networking events as required Promote product ideas to both existing and potential customers, gain and report their feedback Work closely with the marketing team to define campaigns Update and maintain internal CRM, ensuring all data is up to date and produce reports when required Qualifications and Experience: At least two years' experience in a sales and customer service role Previous experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing sector is necessary and Marine experience highly advantageous Relationship experience with distribution channels is advantageous Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office A proactive, forward thinker with exposure to fast-paced, target driven environments Able to prioritise while dealing with multiple accounts Driven to meet deadlines and targets Excellent interpersonal skills If you have account management or sales experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing sector and want to speak about the role contact Lana Ostanina at .
