Overview
We are currently recruiting for a prestigious client based in Newcastle for an experienced Business to Business Account Manager. Working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Excellent basic salary individual bonus of circa 10% and company bonus potential Reporting to the Head of Account Management and managing a team of Account Executives you will be well organised, pro-active, diligent, focused on sales and revenue growth/retention and have the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels within the clients, suppliers and partners and internally. As part of your role you may be required to travel periodically to attend industry events, exhibitions etc. held both in the UK and possibly internationally. As Part of your role you may be required to work outside of your contracted hours for travel and to service and client requests or issues that may arise. Key responsibilities include: To efficiently and effectively maintain excellent service standards in the management of the business relationship with existing and prospective clients Be the principal contact point for allocated clients and ensure a professional and close relationship with them To provide an optimum service and promptly address any queries or issues that may arise in a professional manner Driving volume and growing their business and identify new ways to grow revenue streams Coordinate regular calls with clients, document minutes, circulate and follow up actions with internal / external stakeholders Meet set KPI and performance objectives as set by the Director of Sales and Business Development Liaise with the wider team to ensure that services are being performed within service level agreements and that contractual obligations for clients under your management are being met Work with external organisations and the Senior Management Team to seek to improve the services provided and satisfy business requirements To assist the Account Manager / Head of Account Management and contribute to the department’s business strategy, ensuring that agreed targets and objectives are set and achieved on an annual basis Maintain new business pipeline and update progress of leads Provide suitable new business leads to Programme Managers and follow up accordingly Assist where necessary the Sales team and Senior Management Team in the smooth and successful implementation of new clients To be responsible for complying with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures including Security and Health &Safety To undertake other duties from time to time as may reasonably be required. You will have: Team management experience Field and office-based experience Extensive business to business sales & account management experience Strong Microsoft Office skills Be well organised with the ability to work to tight timescales and demonstrate attention to detail and use of initiative Well presented, organised and professional with a friendly, positive outlook Very strong communication skills both written and verbal Confident and articulate manner with an ability to adapt strong interpersonal styles dependent upon the audience Benefits include: Pension Scheme matched to 4% by the employer 25 days holiday bank holidays If you would be interested in being considered, please email me your fully updated CV.
