Job Purpose We are looking for a driven and motivated Internal Business Development Representative to help us grow in the UK during an exciting time for the business. Your task is to generate qualified sales leads for new business. This will be achieved by building relationships and prospecting in new target accounts with senior decision makers in Field Service, Facilities Management, Courier and Retail Logistics companies and promoting CognitoiQ solutions. You would have gained strong sales lead generation/business development skills working in an Enterprise software environment. You will be working with a target list of prospect accounts, contacting individuals by telephone/email/ LinkedIn /social media etc. with the aim of researching their needs, and establishing business pain points. A key outcome will be promoting CognitoiQ and nurturing prospects with a view to arranging qualified sales appointments and reporting weekly on results. You will be supported with Marketing campaigns and content. Your ability to personalise the pitch will be key. Working closely with Sales and Marketing you will be required to develop your solution and target market knowledge. Responsibilities may develop and the role offers excellent potential for growth as the company evolves. Key Responsibilities Proactive outbound activities to generate leads that turn into Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) Meet and exceed realistic targets Promote our products and services to prospective customers Learn about each account’s strategic pains, issues and needs, to identify new business opportunities which CognitoiQ can address Adopt a social selling approach via LinkedIn Contact, qualify and build a relationship with prospects over the telephone, email and online. Support Marketing Manager in social media nurturing/campaigns Follow up on Campaign leads Share market insights with colleagues in sales and product teams Administration of Salesforce.com Contribute to product marketing on competitor intelligence (i.e. sharing domain awareness and expertise) Learn and keep up-to-date in pitching the company messaging and value proposition Qualification of leads against a set of criteria. Contribute to and undertake activities for continuous development of your personal skills and knowledge. Comply with and follow organisational policies and procedures, including health and safety, Ensure that your knowledge of CognitoiQ products and services is kept up to date.
