Accounts and Executive Manager, The D Group The D Group The D Group, whose parent company is Strategy International Ltd, is a collaborative network which assists its clients’ business and leadership development strategies . At our core is a proprietary network of contacts, developed over 25 years. We provide an annual briefing series with top-level speakers from the public and private sectors, dedicated account support for each member and a range of development programmes for current and future leaders. The D Group is the original component of Strategy international, a group of membership and research networks under the same ownership. Job Description There are two core components of this job role: Accounts Management and Executive Management. Account Management The Account Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of 15 Membership accounts in addition to the Executive manager role. The primary responsibility is to build and maintain relationships and to manage a wide variety of Member related tasks. Specific responsibilities include: Working with Members and the Account Management Team to collaboratively create and deliver an Account Strategy, including organising quarterly meetings to monitor Member satisfaction and ensuring the highest quality of service. Producing proposals and presentations for Members to support business development objectives. Supporting business development opportunities and marketing the D Group Leadership Development programmes. Ensuring that each Member is aware of all D Group activities and communications. Ensuring that each Member has an accurate, up-to-date record of their activities on Salesforce (training will be provided). Representing the D Group at external events. Executive Management The candidate will also manage the Managing Director's diary and work closely with the leadership team to support the full range of D Group activities. Specific responsibilities include: Managing the Managing Director’s diary. Ensuring all administrative support is completed on time. Keeping Salesforce and the shared drives up to date with new business information. Essential and Desirable Skills The candidate should be educated to degree level (2:1 or above) or have other relevant experience, ideally in engineering, construction or infrastructure. They must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a keen interest in business and current affairs. Essential Enthusiastic communicator - the candidate should be confident in communicating with people at all levels of seniority. Prioritisation - the ability to understand what is important and dynamically prioritise their workload. The D Group is a small team and the ability to remain flexible and delivery tasks as required is important. Diligent and proactive - attention to detail and being well organised in the management of accounts is essential. Furthermore, candidates are required work independently to anticipate tasks that may be required. Strong research skills - the ability to distil key information and conduct independent research to the benefits of their Members. Good practical understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Desirable Background in business, construction or infrastructure. Good understanding of the UK political system and business environment. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems - Salesforce training will be provided.
