Overview
Our client is an impressive global asset manager with a brand many aspire to work for. This impressive city asset manager is centralising & building a dedicated Regulatory Reporting function from scratch within their London office. The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading the daily regulatory reporting function for various regimes, including MIFIR, EMIR, ASIC, and MAS. The scope of your responsibilities will include the onboarding of new instruments and products and defining the reportability under these regimes, as well as establishing and maintaining an effective change management function for changes to regulatory requirements or new regulatory regimes that need to be supported. The build out of the team is in its infancy and this hire will be instrumental in implementing processes and building the team from the ground up. Therefore it is essential that candidates are currently managing a similar sized BAU regulatory reporting function with in-depth knowledge of trade and transaction reporting. Candidates at this level will also be accustomed to working at a senior level with active membership with associations and will be in tune with current and future regulations.
