Overview
Our client is a soft seating manufacturer. They are looking to employ a Furniture Export Manager to develop strategic relationships and generate sales with clients in France, Germany, Holland, Russia and Eastern Europe. Job Summary: The Furniture Export Manager will be responsible for: Maintain & develop existing customer base Find new dealers Engage with all third-party companies - A&D, DB etc To help shape the future of the brand in France, Germany, Holland, Russia and Eastern Europe Identify marketing requirements and see them through to completion Attend network events and grow networking group Improve and grow brand awareness Targets and Measurements: Sales role measured on business won. It is the responsibility of the role to establish involvement and influence to justify achievement against targets. Action plan to increase sales and client list Target existing and new contacts Increase sales turnover Increase sales margin contribution Develop and maintain a client database Candidate Profile: Must be fluent in German with French a secondary requirement To be able to travel on a regular basis to the companies customers in Europe and support their sales teams through training and presentations. Act as ambassador for the brand at all times showing pride in the role and the company, have a positive attitude, and demonstrate team spirit Highest standards of ethics, professionalism in the conduct of both external and internal relationships Introduce the brand to their existing network of clients and take advantage Good communicator - verbal, written, interpersonal Good time planning skills and ability to prioritise workload Experience of working in a sales environment Knowledge of company sales systems & procedures. Understanding of pricing structures, policies & presentation Presentation skills Performance will be measured by: Achievement of sales performance Accuracy and timeliness of output (quotes, information, tenders), responsiveness, quality of support to team and customers Progress with customer relationships and business growth Team player Presentable, sociable, confident, loyal Package: £65,000 OTE Travel and business expenses
