Business Development Manager - Supply Chain/Distribution Solutions Location: Buckinghamshire/Home Counties Salary: £65-75,000 commission profit share outstanding career opportunities Our Client is a business without peer, a company that leads the way in their sector. As part of a dynamic international growth strategy they are looking to significantly develop their business in the UK, and to mirror their success in the United States. Their impressive client list includes leading names in retail, manufacturing & pharmaceuticals, and they aim to develop this further. To assist their growth plans they are looking to recruit two Business Development Managers to build on the success they have already enjoyed. The successful candidates will be customer focused, intellectually strong and with an ability to think creatively to deliver what potential customers require. Supported by industry leaders based both in the UK & internationally we are looking for a candidate who has a strong track record of success, but more importantly somebody who has an outstanding career ahead. Key Responsibilities: To identify, research and qualify potential accounts/clients To draft responses to proposals & requests for information To compose presentation materials, involving Company stakeholders when required To draw up long-term business plans and prospects To manage long-term client relationships, seeking opportunities to grow revenue through solution sales To operate collaboratively with colleagues both in the UK & internationally To provide an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s services and a broader understanding of the supply chain industry To attend industry & networking events as necessary The Person: Degree educated, with a minimum of a 2i attained from a recognised university, preferably in a STEM subject Proven sales or account management experience in a consultative business sector Exceptionally strong communication skills A strategic thinker, someone with a creative thought process to offer client solutions A proactive & enthusiastic operator with the ability to put client’s needs first Team focused, customer driven Able to travel both in the UK & internationally IT literate (MS Office & Salesforce) Exceptionally well organised & detail focused To apply for this fantastic career opportunity please email your CV or call for more details
