Brief overview of the role: The focus of this role is to retain, develop and acquire business through selling unique security IT solutions indirectly through our developing System Integrator client base, this is based around the Prolinx portfolio of capabilities; Highly Secure Private/Hybrid Data Centre Hosting Highly Secure PaaS Offering Secure Network Operations Centre Secure 24/7 Service Desk Secure Wi-Fi Secure Mobility Government Security cleared personnel for consultancy and professional services (bespoke service solution design) SME benefit for Public Sector spend targets You will be accountable for the long-term development and growth of customer accounts Duties: Sales Acquiring new customers through marketing campaigns and networking Achieve and exceed a gross margin target through selling IT solutions Establish strong relationships with your customers at all levels through regular close contact account management which will include face to face meetings, telephone and email communications Develop and maintain management/executive level relationships within the customer portfolio. Work with customers to understand their business goals, the issues they face, the solutions they require and the benefits that these will bring them. Develop a forecast and pipeline of new business opportunity with in large customer revenue accounts. Managing all aspects of the sales cycle Tracking all activities, tasks and actions with Prolinx internal IT systems. Forecasting and analysis against expected revenues. Work with the required resource to enable you to design and deliver IT solutions to your customers and communicate these through compiling quotations, proposals, tenders and presentations Positioning and supplying profitable IT solutions through understanding the total addressable market within the customer/prospect Work with Marketing to be able to assist them on marketing activity and focus to drive new business Ability to create and articulate Technology/Service based solutions and outcomes. Established network of contacts through the IT industry Skills and Experience: At least 5 years Experience Managed Services based sales within the IT industry Strong New Business Development background Experience of managing profitable, established client accounts and relationships at all levels. Experience of utilising recognised sales methodologies & techniques Proven understanding and sales capability in large complex engagements Proven experience in creating compelling proposals and solutions Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills Strong team player Excellent professional decision making/problem solving and negotiation skills Strong questioning and listening skills - the ability to sell in a consultative manner where required Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels with Customers, Partners and Internal. Demonstrable self confidence, presence & influencing skills Ability to work under pressure and/or in a pressurised environment Critical Success Factors: Development and growth of an identifiable, sustainable and profitable sales pipeline Retention and growth of existing strategic and named customers Growth of revenue/margin in customer accounts Incremental growth of new named customers Growth of revenues across all Prolinx capabilities Working effectively with all Prolinx and Partner personnel Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance(SC) with no restrictions
