Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join a global leader within the scientific sector in a Technical Sales Consultant role although previous sales experience is not required. The ideal candidate for this position will be a chemistry graduate who is not wanting to pursue their career in the lab and open to alternative opportunities. With strong analytical thinking and strong organisational skills the Technical Sales Consultant plays a vital role within the business with the purpose being to accomplish sales and profit through daily calls to your respective territory. This is NOT a cold calling sales role. About The Role: · Contacting potential customers on a daily basis · Managing and maintaining specific clients on a daily basis · Daily contact with your team and sales manager to ensure on-going customer satisfaction · Working towards daily, weekly and monthly progress reports to your sales manager · Working within an assigned territory of customers · Carrying out your own account management strategy and developing marketing plans · Working towards improving current sales and support programs · Providing technical assistance in the areas on HPLLC, GC and SPE (knowledge of these areas are essential) · Providing technical seminars for Sales & Education purposes with clients Essential Experience/Skills: · It is essential for this role that you have graduated in Chemistry OR have a science degree with a Chemistry A Level · Confident communication skills both over the phone and face to face · Previous sales experience would be an advantage but not essential · The successful candidate will have a passion for success, be driven and be confident working towards targets About the Benefits: · OTE salary of 326,000 is guaranteed for first 3 months · Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm · 21 days annual leave rising to 25 days after service plus bank holidays · Free parking · Extensive training · Generous profit share · Free gym membership · Pension contribution up to 6% · Opportunity to travel around Europe · Outstanding company culture Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
