Overview
Our client is searching for an experienced Property Manager or someone who already has Lettings experience and has the ability to work in a fast paced, customer orientated environment. An arla properytmark qualification is desirable but not essential as they encourage all staff to train and sit their arla Propertymark exam. The full time hours for this role will be: 9am - 6pm Monday-Friday Approximately 1 Saturday in 5/6 on a rota basis working 9am - 1pm (This part of the role is mainly a neg role on a Saturday picking up and responding to email/telephone leads for viewings and carrying out viewings during these hours also) The main shared duties with our existing Property Manager will include: Maintaining an accurate database of managed properties Property inspections and subsequent reports using current software (touchright) Management of day to day maintenance issues using Fixflo Management of external contractors Maintaining landlords legal compliance and duty of care Managing and arranging gas safety renewals, EICR’s, PAT’s and EPC renewals Conducting final check out inspections and liaising with Landlord and Tenant on dilapidation deductions and arranging return of deposit money to Tenant through our external accounts company. Ideal candidate qualities: Honest and hardworking Lettings or Property Management experience Keen eye for detail Extremely organised with the ability to work under pressure Full UK driving license and own car is essential which should be insured for business use Well presented Ability to work alone and as part of a team and be prepared to be versatile when it comes to the job role Ability to multi-task and juggle work loads The position is full time with a basic salary of £22,000 with an OTE of £26,000 Holiday entitlement is 20 days for a full time role, plus bank holidays. In addition to the 20 days, they close down between Christmas and New Year, staff are not required to use any of their 20 days entitlement as part of this shut down. Staff parking is paid for.
