Your new role We have launched our new corporate strategy outlining ambitions to deliver over 10,000 homes over the next10 years, and are looking for an experienced, dedicated and motivatedProject Manager to join the team to help us deliver this. Whilst the county is in the midst of a housing crisis, weare passionate about doing everything it can to build more homes of all tenures across our geography, and this role will be crucial to our success in doing just that. The successful candidate will take a lead on project managing new housing developments, helping to ensure that we deliver new homes of excellent quality that are completed on time and within budget. You will be tasked with the full lifecycle of the build projects from procurement to successful completion as well as working closely with the Land & Planning team to establish a budget and overall costs for our building work. The successful candidate will also be expected to identify value adding opportunities to the schemes and anticipate and mitigate risks during the lifetime of the scheme. You will continuously monitor the costs and income from the schemes, ensuring income remains maximised and the schemes remain viable. We arelooking for someone with experience in the field and a broad range of skills, including the ability to be decisive, persuasive and to use their own initiative when needed. As well as this, the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of different partners and stakeholders, whilst having a focus on finding creative solutions to their respective projects, will be essential.
