SALES EXECUTIVE Based near York - must drive due to the location £18K Basic plus excellent bonus - Salary goes up with progression throughout each level. You will work your way from Account Manager to Account Director. We are looking for a candidate who has the right mind set to achieve, a sociable candidate who wants to earn a great bonus. What does the job entail? Initially… Initially this job is about generating new business from new customers by phoning companies who are known to be buyers- our client provides full training on how to approach customers. All enquiries received from these new customers will be handled exclusively by the Account Manager. You will be responsible for sourcing stock and quoting the customer. When orders are received from customers, you will purchase the stock. You will also chase suppliers to ensure that delivery dates are met. Later… Once new customers have placed orders you will have sole responsibility for managing these accounts and will earn commission from all sales made to these customers. You will deliver excellent Customer Service, and Account Managers develop good working relationships with the buyers at their new customers, as this is vital to winning orders. Accompanied by the Sales Manager, Account Managers can expect to visit their Top Customers once a year, and other customers who we think are growing or have big potential as the need arises. Once an Account Manager’s new customers have begun to place enquiries and orders, the Account Manager will begin to be targeted on generating and improving the sales revenue from these customers. What are we looking for? Previous telephone sales experience is essential . Account Management/Customer service experience is preferable Must be used to working to targets. Good organisational skills. Good telephone manner. Basic computer knowledge, including email and internet.
