An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Area Sales Manager to join a leading independent commercial trailer manufacturer. Due to continual wins and expansion this rewarding and challenging role has arisen. About the company: Specialising in commercial trailer manufacture for customers across the UK and internationally for over 50 years, they provide: Manufacture of various commercial trailers Sales or lease solutions for the trailers Associated parts and support Duties & Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing business to business sales across the territory. Plan and manage own sales activity. Managing own territory and building upon this. Developing key areas with new and existing customers. Working to sales targets and goals. Experience & Skills needed of the Area Sales Manager: The Area Sales Manager will have previous sales experience ideally from a commercial vehicle manufacturer or lease company. Ability to sell a solution sell. Relationships with ports, haulage companies etc. Knowledge of how to manage a territory with autonomy A proven record in new business and account management. In return: Competitive basic salary Company car and fuel card inlcd personal mileage Uncapped commission (OTE circa £60k) Leading pension and other benefits
