With over 500+ seconded Civil Engineers and Structural Engineers in the industry, based in clients offices, offering Consulting; designing; and Project Management - We build careers, develop skills and Invest in People. Your role will take you to situations and learning opportunities that will surprise you. Your challenges will be many but as a civil engineer or structural engineer a management role with Waterman Aspen will allow you to remain with the technical work you enjoy but develop a career into management, add to your CPD, and, there is a healthy bonus system in place to reward success. Reporting to Associate Director level you will support the management team in creating opportunities to business develop, recruit and manage your team of secondees. We are part of CTI Engineering (first Consulting engineers in Japan) a truly international company who work in 3 continents delivering ground breaking projects and innovation, with a focus on developing countries Our Management teams are elite and we are proud to say that Waterman Aspen have had civil Engineer or Structural Engineer involvement in nearly every iconic project in the U.K. Our Civil Engineer and structural managers have been on the front line on many local North West projects including - Lead Technical Designer and Project Manager on the Cycle City Ambition Grant (CCAG); Lead designer on the first new junction from M62 in 20 years; Acting in the capacity of the Highway Authority during the Metrolink Expansion of both the Airport and City Centre lines. Project management/mitigation of the New Manchester airport relief road; Supervising and Undertaking the design and maintenance of Highways England bridge structures schemes; project sponsor role on behalf of the Welsh governments.... to name a few of the roles our Highways Design, Traffic Design, Structural Design Managers have undertaken. Our reputation is founded on how we have achieved these key positions, managed the secondees and consistently achieved repeat business. To start your career with Waterman Aspen you will need experience in civil or structural engineering design, feasibility and supervision (Highways Engineer, Traffic Engineer or Structural Engineer). Ideally you will be seeking/ approaching chartership. Effective communication is required both verbally and in the written word. If you are client facing and confident to approach prospective staff and new contacts you haven't yet met, commercially aware and interested in developing your skills further.....please build your professional skills and apply for this career development role.
