Business Development Manager - Cloud Services Location: Glasgow Basic £30,000 - £40,000 OTE £80,000 (uncapped) Benefits Are you a truly consultative IT sales professional looking to join a growing market leader? On the back of a highly successful 2019 and another year of record growth, this forward-thinking business is now looking to grow its high achieving sales function with several hires in Q1 of 2020. They are looking for equally ambitious business developers that want to be a part of its rapid expansion whilst taking advantage of a fantastic commission structure compared to competitors in the market. You will be responsible for the overall management of a sales target within the EMEA region. You will be responsible for driving the performance in your region while maintaining a high level of direct engagement with prospects to achieve business sales goals. Role/Responsibilities Identification and prospecting for new enterprise business opportunities working closely with marketing and Sr. management Developing a sales pipeline to ensure continued meeting of quarterly and annual revenue targets Effectively articulating a compelling value proposition of the solution set to prospective customers Building strong relationships with key senior client contacts Proficient use of the Sales CRM tools for tracking activity, pipeline and revenue metrics Accurately forecasting opportunities You will be project managing multiple clients and campaigns at any one time Meet with clients face to face to discuss services and maintain existing relationships Requirements: Proven track record in working with enteprise level clients, selling to C-level executives with at least 5 years in IT sales Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience in effectively managing the sales cycle across target accounts, opportunity identification, qualification, negotiation, closing and account expansion Strong communication and presentation skills Strong technical acumen, ability to demonstrate software and participate in technical conversations The ability to consistently generate bookings and exceed quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business, to execute on the company's long-term goals Benefits Genuine flexible working Free food: breakfast, fruit and snacks.
