Business Development Manager Home/ Field Based (Midlands) £35,000 to £45,000 (DOE) Commission Company Car Excellent Company Benefits Our client Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and premium supplier of bespoke kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and home study furniture. With over 50 years of market-leading experience in their sector, they are considered a veritably well-established and reputable brand within their industry, with a focus on providing a premium service and taking great pride in manufacturing high quality, bespoke kitchen furniture for the UK house builder market. As a result of ongoing success, we have been tasked with searching for an experienced Business Development Manager who will join their existing sales team. The successful individual will be responsible for driving growth and nurturing accounts throughout the Midlands region, whilst promoting the company’s credible reputation and impressive customer service. The role Working across the Midlands, you will be tasked with pursuing new business opportunities focusing on National and Regional house builders as your target market. You will own and manage the sales process from cradle to grave ensuring you maintain the company’s high standards of customer service throughout. Once business has been won within your territory, you will be expected to nurture and develop those business relationships in order to drive growth and hit ongoing targets. This is a home-based position so having the ability to manage your time effectively is essential. We are working closely with both the Group Sales Director and the Head of Sales to build this team. Essential skills and requirements: A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant sales experience within the KBB market; Experience of selling to and building relationships with regional and national house builders Experience of spearheading business as well as developing key accounts Demonstrable evidence of successfully negotiating sales transactions and an ability to proactively develop a business pipeline and drive sales activity High levels and standard of verbal and written communication A confident, enthusiastic and friendly personality, with a forward-thinking and innovative attitude Skilled and experienced with sales administrative duties Have a current driving licence In return, this company is dedicated to providing you with ongoing training and development as well as mentoring and offering direction to their BDM’s in the form of sales meetings and 1-1’s as and when required.
