Overview
My client sells commercial vehicles for one of the world's leading automotive brands. Their product range is truly at the top of the industry and is a name associated with excellence and outstanding customer service. As part of continued growth driven by success, they have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, hungry and tenacious Business Development Executive to join their business based from their Swindon site. The remit of the role will cover both new business sales as well as some account management and will involve getting out into a pre-assigned territory to drive sales of their product range. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to selling to business customers and may have had either telephone-based or face to face sales experience to date. The key attributes of the successful candidate will be: Hungry, tenacious and willing to learn on the job in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Some experience in prospecting, pitching and presenting a product or solution to business customers. Methodical and structured and able to manage sales activities across a territory. Professional, consultative sales skills. A desire to develop a long-term career with one of the world's leading brands. Full training and development are included as part of induction to the role. An attractive all-round package is on offer made up of a basic salary of up to £16,000 - £20,000 OTE (£35-40k uncapped) fully expensed vehicle, fuel card and benefits
