Overview

Business Development Executive Leeds £24,000, OTE £34,000 uncapped, up to 5% pay increase each year, Pension, Parking, Perkbox, Funding for training, Healthcare, You will be working with a client that is a leading distributor with a turnover of 18 million looking to expand their success into different countries. The role will be joining an existing team targeting the European market that will be expanding further in 2020. The business has a good culture and pride themselves in having a stable workforce This role requires an individual who has previous experience of working within a sales focused business, with a demonstrable and proven track record of successfully achieving sales results. Travel will be involved within a set European territory and planned to meet the business needs. Main aspects of the role: Targeting specific customers in each territory Following up on leads passed through business contacts The role involved 50% Account Management 50% New Business Development Maintain professional and personal relations with customer which includes daily contact and off-site visits as and when required to the European market Introduce product lines to customers with a focus on cross and up-selling of whole product portfolio Obtaining new business through meaningful interactions with potential customers, aiming to secure long-term contracts Work effectively both individually and as a member of the Business Development Team, contributing to the supporting culture of the business Experience/Skills Demonstrable record of working within a sales focused role Experience of reporting on a timely and accurate basis both externally and internally Ability to consistently achieve or exceed specified targets Excellent customer presentation skills and confident communicator Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise activities Innovative and proactive with a problem-solving approach Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with a desire to succeed Ability to work under own initiative and independently with minimal supervision Sales Support is a specialist division here at Venatu Recruitment Group.
