Tailor-Made Travel - Travel Consultant A leader in the tailor-made holiday market requires an experienced Travel Sales professional who can also demonstrate a passion for travel to join their specialist team as a Tailor-Made Travel Consultant. The Tailor-Made Travel Consultant will be responsible for maximising sales, turnover and profitability of the company's products whilst providing the perfect holiday experience to it's customers. You will be working in a highly competitive travel sales environment via face-to-face, telephone and email to proactively match customer requests to the company's extensive range of products, maximising all sales opportunities whilst maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring customer retention. You will consistently achieve individual monthly sales targets as well as contributing to the overall achievement of the store / team targets. You will have the ability to effectively handle any customer complaints to minimise customer dissatisfaction and encourage repeat business. The successful Tailor- Made Travel Consultant will be extremely well travelled and therefore be able to draw upon their personal travels to long-haul destinations such as the Far East, USA and Australasia to advise, assist and book the customer's personal dream holiday experience. The Tailor-Made Travel Consultant must be flexible to busy times of the year to achieve personal and team targets to capitalise on the customer sales. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience include: Experience in sourcing and booking tailor-made holidays Good knowledge of GDS Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Knowledge of nett fares and airline contracts Strong communication skills Ability to work under own supervision or as part of a team.
