With a range of adhesives screws and sealants, end users include Construction professionals, DIY'ers, HVAC contractors, and Government schemes. What the Regional Sales Manager role involves ; The successful Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling one of our client’s key brands in the product range, with the overall aim of increasing new sales revenue within your specified territory. You will be targeting Contractors, and Buying Groups within the Construction sector to build optimum brand exposure of the range of products which includes a range of fixings and fittings aimed specifically at the Facades sector. This is a field based role with extensive travel across the North of England, and you will need to manage your diary accordingly to maximise efficiency. The patch spans from Birmingham up to the Scottish Border (the ideal candidate will be located along the central spine of the UK). You will be given a range of existing client accounts to manage and maximise as well as being tasked with finding new accounts (about 60% new business). The role will include: Securing new business as well as maintaining Key Accounts Educating Major contractors, Specifiers, Subcontractors and Distributors on the technical application of fixing products Keeping abreast of market and competitors and using th information to impact specification decisions Coordinating product testing and site visits where relevant Tracking an analysing buying trends Negotiating contracts/pricing Conducting CPD seminars/training sessions What can our client offer you? A minimum of 3 years' Specification/Technical Sales Knowledge of the construction sector and Facades/Fixings in particular (in order to be able to speak confidently to Specifiers) Experience of selling to the Constructions sector, with an existing network of contacts to include contractors, subcontractors and distributors An Engineering Qualification would be desirable Capable of meeting KPI’s and hitting sales targets Comfortable with being on site and conversant with site procedures Experience of delivering CPD presentations Well-honed Relationship Management skills CSCS card desirable This business well established as a big player in the market, with a high emphasis on investment for the future.
