Overview

My client is a prestigious and luxury brand with a reputation for excellence globally. They are currently looking for an experienced Sales Director to join their senior management team. Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, but with significant international travel, the successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and deployment of our commercial sales strategy, creating and executing the executive sales plan with the overall objective of driving revenue. You will provide leadership to the proactive sales channels, ensuring all activity is aligned to the organisation's goals and objectives. Position Requirements : Develops the sales strategy for the sites and manages its implementation, and responsible for communicating this strategy to the sales/reservations and events teams Manages the Sales team, to ensure the efficient day to day operation of the Sales Department Provides direction and support to the Groups Sales Function, ensuring that all revenue andprofitability targets are achieved, in line with core standards Working with the Director of Revenue Management set annual revenue targets for all direct salespeople, ensuring that they are clear on their revenue target and have a planned strategy to achieve their goals Proactively manages a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner Proactively prospects new accounts for the company by following the sales process through to convert into 'producing' accounts Candidate Specifications: Significant experience within the hospitality, or similar, industry, previous experience of leading and motivating a successful team Proven track record of increasing revenue with significant previous experience and knowledge of international luxury leisure and incentive markets, with a specific focus on the USA Significant requirement to travel internationally and domestically as required Ability to leverage and influence internal stakeholders and prospective clients with a drive to meet and exceed goals and targets Ability to communicate effectively & professionally to customers and across all levels within the organisation Remuneration : Excellent Salary, Bonus, Company Car & a vast range of additional benefits
