Overview
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - ESTATE MANAGEMENT £55,000 BASIC CENTRAL LONDON Description The role ·Provision of creative and effective estates management advice and execution. The role is wide ranging and covers areas such as landlord and tenant liaison, senior client stakeholder engagement and reporting, ensuring statutory and leasehold compliance and the maintenance of records evidencing compliance. ·The role will include oversight and where appropriate execution of transactions, eg Acquisitions, Disposals (freehold & leasehold) and surrenders. ·A flexible approach to problem solving and broad base of property knowledge is required. ·The preparation of budgets and a very close working relationship with and oversight of the Treasury Services team will be required, ensuring the correct processing of invoices, funding requests and reports. ·Able to identify, promote and implement value add initiatives. ·Support the Account Director in the wider delivery of account services to clients Key deliverables ·Deliver high quality Estates Management Services ·Management and delivery of high quality, accurate and Estates Management reports to clients, including Work in Progress, budgets, compliance and lease event reports in a timely manner. ·Regular verbal and written updates to clients on projects. ·Undertake a role in the promotion and development of the Occupier Solutions offering ·Provide accurate management information to the Senior Management team as required Roles and responsibilities Financials ·Manage fee negotiations, billing and actively manage debtors ·Bill regularly and collect fees as quickly as possible ·Assist with the accurate forecast of fees when required to do so by the Account Director. ·Assist the Account Director in the development of initiatives to improve profitability Clients and Business Development ·Actively manage clients to deliver financial goals ·Maintain and build client relationships ·Actively sell our Occupier Solutions capability to the client ·Develop a solid track record to aide a future renewal of contract ·Working Periodically from clients head office location ·Identify cross selling opportunities and execute them ·Monitor the pipeline of current and prospective assignments and action ·Monitor service to clients via regular reviews and promptly rectify any shortfall in quality People ·Responsible line management across different offices for and manage resources on assignments where appropriate ·Coaching/mentoring of others ·Attend external networking events, keep abreast of market and Energy Sector developments and share these regularly with the team and Group as required Systems and Process ·Proficient in the TRAMPS portfolio management system ·Contribute to the delivery of a high quality service ·Manage change effectively in order to improve quality and profitability ·Improve systems and processes - be innovative and creative and encourage this in others Person specification Essential qualifications ·Educated to degree level ·MRICS Essential experience ·Demonstrable record of delivery in the UK Real Estate market with a strong Estates Management background, particularly from an occupier-based position ·Previous experience and substantial evidence of enhancing client service.
