Overview

Africa Reservations Specailist An Africa Reservations Consultant is required for this fantastic travel company. The Reservations Consultant is responsible for achieving agreed sales figures to their brand. This includes meeting both revenue and profitability targets as set by the Brand Manager/Company. The ability to understand the clients requests completely, review the best holiday options for them, produce a quote and close the sale are the key roles of the reservations consultant. The reservations consultant will plan and organise sales training, ensuring ones knowledge is of the highest standards and they must be able to take on new areas to sell and have the desire to learn more on a daily basis. They will manage day-to-day enquiries entering the business, quoting and converting bookings ensuring focus on revenue and profitability. The reservations consultant must be able to meet (and surpass) agreed personal and team sales targets with agreed profitability levels. They will monitor and report sales activity as required by the Sales Manager and plan and implement ones own training needs within guidance of the Sales Manager and Budget. The reservations consultant will manage customer service levels and client satisfaction. This includes dealing with complaints (in conjunction with Sales & Brand Managers). The reservations consultant will understand emphatically the Africa travel business and they must be able to communicate and motivate via both written & verbal media. They must understand sales and be a keen, determined yet emphatic salesperson who understands the importance of relationship building at all levels for direct clients, travel agents and suppliers. Ability to analyse and report on statistical information at the highest level is essential and so is the ability to manage own time and that of others successfully.
