Overview

My client, a market leader in their field within Education Technology and working with schools, colleges and Universities across the world is looking for an Area Manager to join their team covering the London and South East region. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as they are truly ambitious and rapidly growing. A rapid growth period and uplift in the number of clients they work with has opened opportunities to grow the team. This is a field-based business development focused role with massive potential and the main purpose of the role is to grow partner numbers and support engagement with existing schools and colleges, helping them to make the most of the platform. Key duties: Securing sales meetings with schools and providing in-person demonstrations of the platform. Meeting sales targets and achieving high resubscription rates. Maintaining outstanding relationships with existing partner schools, which includes delivering in-person training to ensure they make the most of the platform. Supporting schools with constructing their long and short-term careers strategy Developing an excellent knowledge of CEIAG within the UK and consulting with schools on how to support their students. Proactively working to foster a sense of community amongst partners and always thinking about how to promote the sharing and embedding of best practice across partner schools. Working collaboratively with partner Account Manager to devise strategies for success with schools and colleges. Key skills: Highly motivated to reach and exceed personal and team targets Track record of excellent relationship management. Personable and resilient. Strong communication skills - both written and over the phone. Keen attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly, both in terms of familiarizing yourself with the education sector, and in terms of grasping what works and what doesn’t when interacting with prospective customers. Proven consultative sales approach.
