Overview
My client are an award winning and highly successful IT company based on the outskirts of York. Part of one of the largest IT groups in the UK, they offer excellent working conditions, career progression, training and fun working culture. Employing over 250 people in their impressive head office, you will be joining an expanding project team, comprising of Project Managers and specialist Consultants working on UK wide client sites. Owing to expansion you will be joining the project support team, who coordinate and support the Consultants in delivering a variety of short and long term projects to clients in the UK. You will liaise with sales colleagues, clients and the wider PM team to support projects through they journey. Involved at pre-sales stage you will allocate and plan projects in, allocating the appropriate skillset to each project requirements, factoring in current assignments, length or duration or projects; geographical location and consultant availability. You will coordinate approximately 20 consultants and more as the team continues to expand. Ensuring the projects run smoothly through initial scoping out, pre sales, planning and eventual delivery through internal colleagues and external 3rd party resource. Using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & MS Project on a daily basis. Training can be given on MS Project if not experienced already.
