We're dedicated to working with our customers to develop and implement effective and cost efficient solutions to their business challenges, enabling them to remain focused on day-to-day operations. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Electrical Control and Instrumentation Technicians for our Labour Business Unit. You will be working in Industrial environments such as Power Stations and Water Treatment works and will be required to take a flexible approach to your outlook. You will be responsible for the delivery of preventative maintenance of electrical, controls and instrumentation on range of client sites including: * Install, commission, verify or calibrate, fault find & service Flow, Level, Temperature & Pressure instruments from multiple vendors * Install, commission, fault find and service D.O.L, Star Delta, Soft Start & Inverter Drives from multiple vendors * Install, commission, fault find and service analysers including ammonia, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, fluoride, pH, phosphate, redox, turbidity and UV nitrate from multiple vendors * Install containment and S.W.A. CY, SY, Power and Data cabling in accordance with relevant standards and manufacturers specifications * Fault find and make modifications to existing PLC code in accordance with IEC 61131 * Fault find and make modifications to existing Fieldbus installations in accordance with IEC 61158 * Fault find and make modifications to existing HMI code in accordance with Client Specifications * Read and work from P&ID, circuit/ loop diagrams, schematics and process drawings. Requirements You will need to possess experience & knowledge of industry processes, policies & disciplines, such as those specific to the water and rail industries, experience & knowledge of relevant technical standards, such as BS7671, IEC 61131 & IEC 61158 and be a competent user of IT, specifically Microsoft suite of software, MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.
