Our LandInsight product vastly improves the process of finding land to build new homes on, and its loved by hundreds of experienced property developers as well as a range of people who are new to the industry. Were looking for bright and warm individuals who can build on the firm foundations we have put in place. Your Mission Were looking for a passionate and versatile Product Designer to help shape the LandInsight UI/UX, a product that helps property developers understand the development potential of any plot of land in seconds. Your goal will be to take the tedious and complex tasks carried out by property developers and transform them into intuitive and delightful experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to work in product team with a evidence-based, design-first mindset. On each feature or enhancement youll work closely with a Product Manager to rigorously understand the market needs before kicking off the design process. You'll bring creativity, ideas and UI/UX best practices as well as an understanding of how to integrate those fresh ideas within our existing product. You'll own the UI/UX for features end to end from conception to execution and also contribute to building out our design system - a new initiative well be kicking off in early 2020. Our Tech and Principles * Node.js (Vue.js & React), Python, Shell Scripts * Data stores such as Mongo, Postgres and ElasticSearch * CI and some CD via CircleCI * AWS (EB, ECS, Beanstalk, S3) and Kubernetes Cluster (ELK stack, Grafana+Prometheus, Istio) * A mixture of Lean, DevOps and Agile principles * Collaborative, test-first, fast-feedback software principles * A focus on *nix tooling and open source software Requirements * You will be working closely with our Product Managers and Developers in a highly collaborative environment, to iteratively conceive, prototype, build, deliver and test new features and functionality within the product. * You will be crafting not only the user interface itself but also the broader user experience. So youll need to consider information architecture and navigation as well as responsive layouts and accessibility. * You will also contribute to the evolution of LandInsights data model to ensure it remains coherent and navigable for our target personas as we broaden our proposition and grow into new markets * You will work with our Senior Product Designer to build and leverage a new design system * You will be data driven and comfortable being client facing whilst leading or participating in user research / testing. Your portfolio will demonstrate... * Your experience in designing for complex digital interfaces (preferably SaaS); * Experience of leveraging user testing and validation * An experience and awareness around working with a design system and brand guidelines; * Responsive Design; * Knowledge of information architecture, visual hierarchy and interaction design; * An awareness of design trends and technology; * A mastery of modern design tools (e.g. Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, Marvel); * Experience with low fidelity prototyping as a means to explore multiple design solutions; * A passion for digital design and a strong awareness of design trends & tech * Experience in B2B software, Proptech or Fintech is beneficial but certainly not essential Benefits Company Culture Our company is built on three core values: open, empower and home.
