We are currently looking for a Principal/Associate Transport Planner to help shape and drive our client's talented Transport Planning team. Role Summary This is a fantastic opportunity for you to step into a senior role and help shape the future of a Transport Planning team, You will work closely with the Director of Transport Planning undertaking analytical work - such as trip generation, modelling, road safety audits, carbon footprint calculations to provide a solid basis for the proposal of any mitigation strategies along with written work - Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements. Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have experience in: * Communication skills are key when liaising with clients and stakeholders * The ability to manage projects effectively (within time and budget) staying focussed on the end goal and overcoming obstacles as you progress. * Leading the delivery of projects working under minimum supervision based on an in-depth knowledge of and working experience of implementing the principles of transport planning * You will have strong technical capabilities with a focus on traffic modelling * Experience of client management including preparation of fee proposals * A civil engineering background is desirable with the ability to undertake preliminary junction/highway design If interested, please get in touch via contact details provided or click "Apply" to forward an up to date copy of your CV and ideally with a cover letter.
