Job Description

We are looking for a Blockchain Analyst to join our team in London for an internship of minimum 6 months duration. You will work within a diverse group of engineers and scientists to improve our proprietary trading by extracting vast amounts of blockchain-based data with the aim of identifying relevant trading signals and feeding these into our live strategies. In an ideal scenario you implement or contribute to your first trading strategy during the internship and join us afterwards in a full-time position. What you will do as Blockchain Analyst: * Research current blockchain ecosystem and compile regular industry reports * Come up with novel approaches of extracting, analysing and interpreting blockchain data such as transaction records for trading purposes * Connect our trading engine to relevant data sources * Identify predictive signals for our live trading and bring strategies into production * Shape our trading footprint by identifying new markets to trade on Requirements * Enjoy working in an informal and fast-paced environment * Unconventional thinking and persistence * Quick to learn and good attention to detail * In-depth knowledge of protocols such as Bitcoin and Ethereum * Strong programming skills in a modern programming language * Ideally familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) * Prior experience in financial engineering preferred * The ideal applicant combines solid coding skills with business acumen and prior trading experience Benefits * Competitive base salary * Free Friday lunches, drinks and snacks * Central London office * Ideally internship leads to a full-time position which includes further benefits
