Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started. **Summary:** Facebook is seeking a Manager for Technical Program Management (TPM) with large-scale network infrastructure experience. This person will be deeply involved in evolving and enhancing the global network that supports all Facebook products and services. They will be responsible for the growth, reliability, efficiency, security, performance, and overall health of the end-to-end network. They will help solve some of the most challenging networking problems in the industry, drive innovative, creative and ground-breaking solutions, and utilise automation to scale. This person will partner closely with engineering and other cross-functional teams to understand the problem space and domain in depth, create roadmaps, prioritise based on impact and drive them through to completion. They will have a strong backbone, data centre or edge networking background as well as prior network software architecture, design and development experience. They will have an overarching understanding of the end-to-end network architecture and a proven track record in taking on and going deep in new technical domains. This is a full-time position based in our office in London and will report to the Group Technical Program Manager. The responsibilities of this role include both people management and hands-on program management. Manage a team of TPM's capable of scaling with Facebook through a period of continued high-growth and evolution, forging tight partnerships with managers and engineers across the infrastructure organisation. 2. Build strong and aligned program teams to efficiently deliver on shared cross-functional goals. 3. Measure and improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes that are working well and build the next level of improvements. 4. Partner with Engineering teams and business owners to define program requirements, standards, set priorities, manage tradeoffs, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of these teams. 5. Manage intra-program and inter-program cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimising scope, schedule, and resources accordingly. 6. Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. 7. Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical due diligence and analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases. 8. Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables. 9. Proactively identify and analyse complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders. 10. Influence program and product decisions to align with higher company initiatives. 11. Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation. **Minimum Qualifications:** 12. B.S./M.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Engineering degree preferred 13. 5+ years of managing large scale network projects. 14. 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager. 15. 2+ plus years as a People Manager. 16. Experience building, developing, and managing program management teams 17. Background in computer and network architecture, design, and development of networks. 18. Track record of delivery of large complex projects across multiple stakeholders. 19. Experience in process mapping and process improvement. 20. Track record of using metrics to drive continuous improvement. 21. Experience in Network Program Management or Product Management. 22.
