About the role There are 4 keys areas of accountability for this position: * Operations * Maintenance * HSSE * Project SPA Operations Here, you are responsible for the implementation of Air bp's OMS & PSP's using management of change and risk assessment. You will represent and deliver joint venture board meetings and project governance matters including liabilities, strategies and business risk management. You will ensure that the operational and maintenance teams have a training schedule including air bp training, local and statutory required training, i.e. first aid, firefighting, spill response, etc as well as warrant all accredited contractors who work on the fixed and mobile fleet are accurately inducted. You will implement long- and short-term KPI's for the operational team and provide mentorship and development to achieve continuous improvement and management of the site improvement plan (SIP). This position will supervise closure of audit actions through internal tracking processes to completion/closure Set & control operational revex and capex budgets as well as represent air bp and MashCo on Joint Inspection Group (JIG) operations manager and technical committees. Maintenance Here, you will lead the maintenance team accountability for planning of routine maintenance programmes for the fixed and mobile fleet using the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) and will be accountable for emergency repairs to minimise fixed and mobile equipment downtime. This role is responsible for completing periodic walk rounds of the Airport Depot and Hydrant facilities to identify any defects with fixed and mobile equipment as well as the depot building. Health, Safety, Security & Environment Here, you are the single point of accountability you are responsible for compliance with HSE & EA expectations as an upper tier COMAH site, including working with risk consultants. You must be proficient in emergency incident management and accident investigation. Prepare and plan regular emergency response training sessions/exercises for all staff. Project SPA Here, you will ensure that the projects remain complaint with air bp engineering standards and CVP by supporting the project managers collaborating closely with the air bp central engineering functional team. You will support the project managers with governance of the projects and open lines of communication with the project gatekeeper and UK Operations, HSSE & Engineering Lead and ensure that contractors appointed for the projects are approved. Liaise with accredited contractors to support the approval of risk assessments and method statement (RAMS) and the development of air bp hazard identification & risk assessments (HITRA's) Supervise and prove that the project teams are aligning with the air bp control of work (CoW). About you: * A technical qualification in engineering/science or another related field would be required for this role as well as experience in a similar role and mechanical aptitude. * Sound knowledge of equipment maintenance and bulk fuel facilities/Hydrant lines. * Leader of an established team with experience in people management and robust negotiation skills * Customer relationship/Responsiveness * Sound knowledge of budgets and accounting * Ability to work closely with project teams. * Significant experience in oil or a related industry in operations, engineering or terminals would be desirable but not crucial. Manchester Airport aircraft fuelling is supplied by an airport depot and hydrant. This facility is owned by a JV with several participants who are directors of a company called MashCo (Manchester Hydrant & Operating Company). Air bp has been contracted by the directors to operate MashCo using air bp's PSP's (procedures, standards & practices) and its OMS (operating management system). This role is accountable for the MashCo operation and will provide technical leadership of an operational and maintenance team to drive continuous improvements in safety through the delivery of air bp's PSP's & OMS as well as industry standards & best practices. The Airport owner (MAG) is redeveloping the airport layout and terminal design and as a result MashCo are required to redesign the depot & hydrant.
