HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING : The European Technical Architect is someone with Next-Generation technology experience - Hybrid/Cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, Vrealise, etc.), and using this experience, to collaborate with the global Architecture team to design and deliver global standards into the European environment. You must be confident in demonstrating in-depth expertise around virtualization, storage solutions and network design, across IT infrastructure environments. Demonstrable experience writing low-level designs, mitigating risk, working to documentation standards, disaster recovery and network solution governance should form the basis of a suitable profile. The role requires someone with proven experience of designing and delivering complex infrastructure and workplace initiatives. In your role as a European lead Technical Architect, you will help Kellogg to continue to grow our business and build on our success by ensuring the delivery of consistent and high-quality Infrastructure and Workplace initiatives at each location across Europe through: Work with the global Enterprise Architecture team to defined global standards and then develop technical solutions for Europe based on these. Define European architecture roadmaps for Infrastructure and Workplace with a focus on a 2-5 year plan to reducing technical debt whilst support business growth. Building and maintaining relationships across the global business and IT functions, to facilitate project delivery and business change. Working with business relationship managers, project managers and global technical delivery teams to ensure that all infrastructure requirements are factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software Provide a consultative approach to projects being delivered in Europe to ensure that they are aligned and any new technologies introduced have the necessary Infrastructure in place to support successful operations Support digital transformation across the European business Work with key vendors to develop and strengthen partnerships to support business growth Ensure that Kellogg IT Change management practices are maintained and updated in accordance with global standards. Maintain a level of compliance appropriate to Kellogg. To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following: Required: + IT operational experience with 8+ years focused on IT Infrastructure specifically networking and compute/storage. + A strong understanding Workplace / Infrastructure technologies including (but not limited to) Skype for Business, Office 365, Cisco/ Aruba, SD-WAN, SIP telephony, Citrix, Rubrik, Networker, VMWare and Cloud migration + Proven experience of driving digital transformation. + Experience of working with outsourced teams + Experience of working within cloud architecture + Experience develo
