It currently delivers customer journey optimization for over 1,000 leading e-commerce websites, including Domino's Pizza, L'Oreal and Megabus. As a Lead Data Analyst you will be at the core of Yieldify's value delivery, driving insights and managing the priorities of the Data and Analytics Department. You will lead technical projects from conception through to completion working alongside the Head of Product and other relevant stakeholders. You will work closely with other departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices. Other duties will include improving and streamlining data systems within the company, and driving innovation. This will be a temporary position to cover a team member's absence on maternity leave. In this role you will: * Own the data quality: identify gaps in our data and put in place monitoring to ensure the data we are collecting is reliable and trustworthy. * Manage the team who act as the main point of contact for the commercial teams for everything related to data and reporting, from new requests to bugs / gaps raised. * Identify opportunities to drive value for customers on a global level, and work with the product team to turn them into actionable features on the product roadmap. * Lead the Data Analytics team to extract insights, prototype features, and explore new opportunities to productise Yieldify's data. * Analyse the performance of campaigns, find insights on digital user behaviour, and present recommendations to customers worldwide. * Learn to understand our client's business model, creating a set of objectives and a constantly evolving project plan for testing and personalisation to directly address the client's online objectives. * Collaborate with consultants, customer success managers, and technical services to deliver successful customer journey optimisation programmes to clients. * Identify improvements to our methodology and processes, and lead their implementation across the company. * Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue based on insights derived from data. * Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection to executive members and staff. We're looking for someone with: * A quantitative degree such as Maths, Engineering, Economics or Physics, or equivalent work experience. * Experience setting-up and maintaining Tableau or Looker (preferable) reporting. * Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or user experience. * Demonstrable experience working with data at an advanced level (e.g. databases, Excel, statistics). * Advanced knowledge of SQL with practical applications. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Project management skills. * An Analytical mind who loves to dive deep into data, identify patterns and generate insights for the benefit of our customers. * Experience / skill in one of the following programming languages: Python, R, or other data exploration language. If not, strong, evidence-based interest in learning technical skills.
