The Global Operational Pricing and Analytics Leads will be responsible for leading regional operational pricing and pricing analytics support across Gilead portfolio to inform strategic pricing, and business decisions. This role works closely with internal stakeholders in Global Value & Access (GV&A), Local Value & Access, Finance, Legal, and Global Analytics & Insights. This role will report to the Executive Director Pricing & Analytics, within Global Value & Access **Core Job Responsibilities:** **Operational Pricing** + Subject matter expert for the global pricing governance and new global pricing management system. He/She will certify the accuracy of country pricing data, maintain referencing rules, update price approval workflows and system user access, and encapsulating price approvals within the new GPM system + Act as systems administrator for the global pricing ecosystem that will partner with IT and our 3rd party vendor to help with system maintenance and support the global value & access community + Responsible for training local V&A affiliates on the pricing governance, pricing lexicon, global pricing management system, and building the new knowledge management tools that will contain several guidance documents related to value & access activities + Responsible for monitoring and tracking the pricing calendar by country/region to ensure pricing reviews by TA (HIV/EV, Liver, Inflammation, Oncology, Established Brands) are systematically accounted for throughout the calendar year to generate the broader pricing committee calendar + Partner cross-functionally with TA strategic pricing leads/legal/finance to ensure proposals are within global pricing guidelines + Support the SP/V&A TA leads and local affiliates to leverage consistent use of all pricing templates (i.e. country & GPC) to maintain accuracy & consistency when developing pre-reads to meet critical deadlines for weekly pricing meetings and monthly GPC meetings + Support the ED of pricing & analytics for GPC meeting prep & logistics this includes coordination with Global Marketing TA Heads & Country GMs to manage the country price review process prior to Global Pricing Committee + Support to the strategic pricing TA lead V&A TA lead on the LE process and the 10-year LRP by developing pricing templates and capturing data for each TA to provide a roll up of the pricing assumptions by Core 9/Non-Core countries and presenting any GTN variance or prices not consistent with pricing guidelines **Pricing Analytics** + Knowledgeable about priority payer systems globally, including local pricing setting mechanism and market dynamics. Monitor payer systems for major changes to pricing mechanism (i.e. health reform, change in pricing rules) + Responsible for conducting pricing analytics and developing pricing models (retrospective case reviews, price/volume tradeoffs, country supply, and international referencing pricing impact on revenues to support strategic pricing considerations, key business decisions and or policy impact. + Support development of brand/indication P&R regulatory sequence/ launch sequence optimization analysis in accordance to launch planning activities + Act as subject matter expert for multiple 3rd party secondary data resources i.e. PriceCentric, MIDAS, DRG, SSR, Analysource, and internal finance data to create pricing analogues analysis, competitive pricing reports/tableau dashboards for key GCPS deliverables ISP, LE, LRP, and ad-hoc analysis for BD opportunities + Lead the introduction and implementation of advanced analytical tools and processes (i.e. TA dashboards, information sources, tracking mechanisms, KPIs, templates and analytic platforms etc.) to assist affiliates with monitoring G2N management and perform global analysis to inform global price strategy and decision making + Support local affiliates and TA leads with various pricing data requests i.e. price certifications, pricing evolution analysis, brand/indication specific pricing landscape reports for referencing markets and/or price proposal analysis + Support the strategic pricing lead during the development of global pricing strategies, including Value Based Agreements, contracting/tenders and par
