Associate Director, WWHEOR Markets ROW Oncology Bristol-Myers Squibb - Uxbridge, UK Reporting to: Director WWHEOR Markets ROW Tumour Lead Melanoma & GU Position Requirements & Description: The focus of WWHEOR Markets is to work closely with key markets under our responsibility to deliver reimbursement/ access and value demonstration. Key markets under our jurisdiction include Germany, France, Japan, UK, Spain, Italy, Canada, Australia, Nordics, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and Brazil. In addition, we have responsibility for additional markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It is therefore essential that the successful candidate has significant HTA experience, in-depth knowledge of healthcare systems across multiple countries within the geographic remit, and understanding of how HEOR evidence can support access decisions. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate a history of business acumen, as shown by successful past experience collaborating with clinical, medical, and commercial stakeholders in a matrix organization. In particular, this person in this position will: * Lead health economic and outcomes research in support of the melanoma oncology assets. * Provide insights into the development of access/HTA strategy from the perspective of markets under their responsibility and support their colleagues in the implementation of this strategy * Develop and execute innovative HEOR plans in support of BMS oncology assets (both RWE and modelling/NMA/SLRs and other evidence) * Identify opportunities and lead studies to differentiate and enhance value propositions for oncology assets. * Direct efforts to build dossiers for submission to HTA authorities to support market access activities. * Build relationships with key BMS matrix teams to maximize opportunities for oncology portfolio. * Maintain and develop strong relationships and visibility with external key opinion leaders in medicine, health economics, and outcomes research. * Take responsibility for leading matrix teams on key cross-functional projects with an opportunity to mentor and develop junior staff, and to advance the impact of health economics and outcomes research at BMS Skills: Advanced degree (such as MSc, MPH, Pharm D, MD or PhD) preferably in a quantitative discipline such as health economics or health services research. Demonstrated experience conducting outcomes research, health economics research, health services research, health technology assessment and conducting epidemiologic studies across at least three markets within the scope of WWHEOR Markets geographic responsibilities. Experience in oncology outcomes research highly desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, demonstrated through past experience collaborating with clinical, medical, and commercial stakeholders in a matrix organization (especially between global and market groups). Strong project management skills - demonstrated by a track record of delivering relevant HEOR evidence, dossier adaptation, and scientific publications - are also required.
