Job Description
This small specialist Hotel and Property Group, with its HQ in Asia, is building an infrastructure that will satisfy the needs of lifestyle travellers. They provide high-quality stays with a combination of carefully yet simply designed rooms; ample, inviting and activated communal spaces that bring people together; and a service spirit that is real, approachable and knowledgeable. As part of their global expansion plans, they are now seeking a London based HR Manager . This position will work with Human Resources employees to carry out daily activities of Human Resource Office including oversight of all recruitment, training and development, compensation and employees benefits, legal manpower framework, payroll including advising on best practice; implementing safe work environment to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and operating procedures. You will: * Manage Recruitment and Hiring Process * Assist in interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with appropriate skills * Establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources * Attend job fairs and ensure documentation of outreach efforts in accordance with Human Resource Standard Operating Procedures * Network with local organisations (such as Hotel Associations etc) to source candidates for current or future openings * Oversee / monitor candidate identification and selection process * Provide expertise to Operations Manager regarding selection procedures * Partner with vendor partners to ensure effective adverts are being utilised for open positions in appropriate venues to attract diverse candidates * Perform quality control on candidate identification / selection * Administer and educate on Employee Benefits Requirements * Your CV must show that you have 5+ years experience in Hotel HR (and ideally also Hospitality and property management sectors) * Ideally an ASEAN national yourself (now working in Hotel HR and living in London); failing this you must have experience of dealing with and reporting to an ASEAN HQ ) * Your CV must show that you have the permanent right to live and work in the UK * Your CV must show that you have a Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources (or similar), where this was obtained and when * Your CV must show that you have CIPD membership / qualifications * Your CV will show how you have performed beyond status quo , resulting in improved and timely outcomes provided by regional operations team members * Your CV will show how you have strong interpersonal skills , including ability to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and written and active and effective listening skills * Your CV will show how how you have strong analytical skills with ability to make decisions while considering big picture.
