Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Technology Specialism Data and Analytics Technologies Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary A career in our Analytics Technology practice, within Data and Analytics Technology services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics. We focus on a collection of organisational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance that help our clients drive innovation, growth, and change within their organisations in order to keep up with the changing nature of customers and technology. You'll make impactful decisions by mixing mind and machine to leverage data, understand and navigate risk, and help our clients gain a competitive edge. Our team helps clients navigate various analytics applications to get the most value out of their technology investment and foster confidence in their business intelligence. As part of our team, you'll help our clients implement enterprise content and data management applications that improve operational effectiveness and provide impactful data analytics and insights. Your mission In this role you will lead, for PwC clients in Luxembourg and/or Europe, the implementation of data analytics projects, in close contact with clients, its technical experts and its business units. Your main responsibilities will include: * Manage Business and IT transformation projects related to Data & Analytics solutions implementations; * Design, review, implement Data & Analytics solutions architectures; * Consolidate and assess client's needs and requirements; * Solve business issues through innovative data driven solutions; * Support our clients in their move to a data-centric culture by actively supporting the change to new tools and way of working; * Evaluate established and fast-growing technologies in order to identify the opportunities for our clients. Your profile * Master degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or IT Technology; * You have at least 5 years practical experience in advanced data manipulation ideally in financial sector; * You have worked on international projects and have proven a real leadership in managing teams and communicating to stakeholders; * Ability to articulate a complex problem, deliver solution design, estimates, implementations, and lead delivery of data and analytics projects; * Knowledge of scripting language (Python, R) or programming language (.Net, Java,..) * Experience in designing and implementing data driven solutions based on software like Alteryx, Denodo, Talend, Anaconda, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, MicroStrategy... * Experience with two or more database management systems in both operational/transactional and data warehousing context: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, IBM DB2, Teradata, ElasticSearch; * Experience in software development: software application design; design pattern and microservices architecture; DataOps / DevOps; system testing; application data security, ... * Knowledge and experience with data modelling, data warehousing, data virtualisation, dimensional modelling, big data solutions and ETL development; * Strong technical aptitude, ability to multi-task and be flexible to respond to changing priorities; * Good team player, capable of working on multiple requests; * Fluency in English and French or German.
