Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to provide maternity cover for the Global AP Manager. We are looking for an experienced AP Manager, within the Retail industry, to manage the payables of Charlotte Tilbury globally. This role reports into the Head of Group Finance. Role Accountabilities: Manage Accounts Payable function * Team management of 2 coordinators, including regular 1-2-1s reviewing of objectives * Controlling and monitor the stock and non-stock AP balance * Escalation point for AP queries from the team * Weekly short-term cash flow forecasting * Reviewing the weekly payment run prior to approval * Monitor cashflow with Group Finance * Ensure internal deadlines for expense payments are met * Ensure full integration of systems into Concur * Monitor the Concur system for any delays * Manage expectations of internal stakeholders and assist with escalations * Manage company credit card program and suggest improvements Manage the Concur expense system in conjunction with Stock & Expense Coordinator Manage the AP month end close * Review of team journals, including T&E and Logistics accruals * Post and reconcile monthly pre-payments * Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations * Manage Trade Finance function Drive system improvements within the AP function * Improve creditor days * Drive for continued process improvements * Consistent month-end reporting on a timely basis * Ensure global consistency with controls and procedures Support the Head of Group Finance * Ad hoc requests Requirements * Experience managing a team is essential * Global AP experience desirable * Knowledge of stock control principles and trade finance desirable * Good communication skills essential * Experience with NetSuite desirable * Experience with the expense management system, Concur * Understand the importance of cash flow * Advanced excel skills (Vlookups, Sum If, Pivot tables, etc) * Flexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learn
