Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with extensive web development experience looking to join a well-established, growing business offering professional and personal progression. The role comes with an excellent and robust benefits package. In this role you will support and lead Junior Coaches whilst training the next generation of Software developers. Comprehensive knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML 5 and CSS3 will be essential, along with an insatiable appetite for learning, teaching and coaching. You will work on a variety of different projects, with a diverse set of students to help them launch their first career move in tech. Commercial experience is advantages as is an understanding of backend languages such as PHP or C# are a considerable advantage. Responsibilities include * Supporting cohorts of up to 15 students * Contributing to tech products and projects to enhance and enable our training * Advising on with student intakes and admissions process * Contributing to course curriculum and constantly innovating to stay at the edge of the industry * Helping students become the best versions of themselves Requirements * Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML 5 and CSS3 will be essential * Knowledge or understanding of backend languages such as PHP or C# will be an advantage * Excellent demeanour, interested in developing others * Able hold the room in a teaching environment * Strong code experience, familiar with best practice * Keen to explain complex concepts in a simple way * Commercial development experience preferred Benefits * Competitive salary and benefits offering * Opportunity to join a company in growth and scale up mode in a senior position that will be seen as pivotal to the shape and influence of the organisation moving forward
